iNNOV8 Research Center Visits Austria Community Center

On December 16, 2024, in Erbil, a delegation from iNNOV8 Research Center met with Prof. Dana Mawlood, Vice President of the University of Kurdistan Hewler (UKH) and Director of the Austria Community Center. 

The meeting focused on exploring potential collaboration between iNNOV8 and UKH research centers across various research areas. Director Imad Farhadi emphasized the significance of building partnerships between research centers and think tanks in Iraq to encourage inclusive research in a broad range of topics. He highlighted iNNOV8’s comprehensive approach to addressing issues relevant to both the public and policymakers, offering the center’s expertise to collaborate with UKH research centers on specific research themes. 

Prof. Dana Mawlood reaffirmed UKH’s commitment to fostering inclusivity and diversity within educational and research institutions by partnering with research centers across the Kurdistan Region. As Director of the Austria Community Center, he shared the center’s vision of becoming a leading hub for cross-cultural dialogue and academic collaboration, serving as a bridge between Austria and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. 

Both sides discussed prospects for joint projects and collaborative research, agreeing that connecting research centers across Iraq is essential for driving innovation, advancing research, and promoting constructive dialogue.
