French Consul General Meets iNNOV8 Team to Discuss AI Action Summit Panel 

A delegation from iNNOV8, led by Director Imad Farhadi, met with French Consul General Mr. Yann Braem in Erbil to discuss iNNOV8’s role as a partner in the AI Action Summit in Paris. In collaboration with École Normale Supérieure (ENS), iNNOV8 organized a panel on AI’s role in sustainable development in developing regions, bringing together leading experts. 

The importance of AI knowledge was discussed during the meeting, emphasizing the need for regions like the Kurdistan Region to keep pace with global advancements while addressing risks. The importance of integrating AI into development strategies while proactively mitigating governance and ethical challenges was another aspect of the discussions. 

CG Braem praised the success of the event and welcomed the growth of think tank initiatives in the Kurdistan Region. He emphasized the need to bridge the gap between academic research and real-world application, encourage collaboration, and address public concerns. 

iNNOV8’s panel, "Leveraging AI for Sustainable Development in Developing Regions," featured experts and policymakers discussing AI’s impact on economic growth, governance, and environmental sustainability. The discussion reinforced iNNOV8’s mission to promote inclusive AI-driven innovation and practical policy solutions.
